The snow cover continues to be great. The snow remains hard packed in most areas with icy patches throughout. Deep drifts remain interspersed around the ski fields. Currently it is around -2 with a strong wind blowing so temperatures seem a lot colder due to wind chill. Visibility is about 50 metres. For more information view the website.

Greetings mountain goers. This is just a friendly reminder to confirm that the new 10 minute drop off zone which was established at the beginning of the season is a 10 minute parking zone. Please use this space to drop off and pickup gear when arriving and departing the mountain. Below is an example of incorrect application of the parking zone.
Please be advised that Parks and wildlife have confirmed 2wd vehicles are now fitting chains. #roadupdate #2wdfitchains

The snow cover on the slopes remains good, but there rocks and bushes are beginning to become more exposed over the ski fields.
Skiers and boarders are reminded to be alert to orange poles across the resort which indicate a hazard. Caution is advised in these areas.
Also the blue pole line from the top of Summit lift provides a clear traverse to the back slopes as Village lift is out of action.
There is limited visibility which is lifting at times on the slopes. High winds
Forecasters are confident that more snow to below the base camp ground or the 900m ASL level tomorrow and follow up falls on Friday to 1100 both of up to 10mm.
