Slightly overcast on Ben Lomond today with a light wind blowing currently, however blue sky’s are coming through. The snow remains very patchy on the lower areas but good on the back slopes and upper areas on the front ski field. The snow is still a little heavy and sticky due to the warm temperatures and rainfall. The route up is clear until you enter the ladder where there is some fog, restricting vision but this should clear through out the morning.
Lift operations have ceased for 2016 so the slopes are open for all snowplay and freestyle riding across the mountain until the snow runs out.
Ben Lomond Snow Sports are remaining open from 9am to 4:30pm have all your hire needs covered right at the doorstep to the snow. Pop in for a bite to eat for some great hot food and drink options from their café just off the snow or try one of their to die for hot chocolates and get it out of the cold.
