There is a fair amount of deicing and track work to be undertaken. Conditions on the back of the mountain will be assessed this morning with a further report on expected operations for the weekend.
Current conditions are blue skies with a light frost on 15 to 20 cm of fresh snow. Winds are West South Westerly 10-15 knots (20-30kmph), expected to go north westerly later today in preparation for further snowfalls.
PWS Road UPDATE – The grader has been called to clear the road. All vehicles to fit chains and follow the direction of parks and wildlife staff on duty.
