Going to be a blue bird day with a magic sunrise on the mountain this morning. Its currently -6.5 degrees, high light cloud with an amazing cover of snow on all slopes. There are light southerly winds which are expected to increase slihtly and abate today. Lifts operating will be Bass, Village, Summit, Fannies and Bills.
Junior races registration at the race hut from 9am with racing from 11am.
ROAD CONDITIONS – Snow on Road to the Village. Fitting chains to 2WD VEHICLES. ALL vehicles proceeding past the park registration area must carry chains and fit them where directed. Drive to the conditions and keep a sensible distance between cars. Please follow the directions of the Parks Rangers. If you are driving a car you not only need to have chains, you need to know how to fit them and how to drive your car whist they are on. For more information on chains visit the snowsafe website.

This means no lugging your gear up from the car park, no mess, no stress and most importantly no worries. Pop in for a bite to eat for some great hot food and drink options from their café just off the snow or try one of their to die for hot chocolates and get it out of the cold.
