[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Update from Parks and Wildlife is that the fallen trees have been cleared from mountain road, the road has been graded from the Rangers Station to the village and 2WD’s are fitting chains. Please note that all vehicles are required to carry chains. The road hasn’t been cleared below the rangers station and the grader will commence this work this afternoon.

Drivers note that there is still substantial snow and ice on the road and that caution should be taken on the drive up the mountain road. Snowsports are operating the mountain shuttle from the PWS registration area at the base of the mountain and are open for hire and lessons today. Duck into the pub to meet the new Ben Lomond Alpine Hotel owners.

Thanks to Ski Patroller and BLC member Douglas James and Ben Haslam for the photos.

More updates to follow on conditions.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”nectarslider_style” interval=”3″ images=”357,356,355,354,353,352,351″ layout=”3″ gallery_style=”1″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” img_size=”600×400″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
