Lift update – Bass to oprate from approx Midday on a marginal windblown cover

An update from Alpine Enterprises has confirmed that  Bass lift will operate from approximately 12 midday today. Deicing of village is occuring and will be assessed later this afternoon for operations. The snow cover is windblown with soft and ice patches and has been assessed as marginal at this stage. Snow Sports and shuttle transport going live from Friday 3 July

Ben Lomond Update – Snow Play, Tobogganing the order of the day – 04 08 2014

REPORT: Conditions are sub marginal for skiing on the mountain, conditions deteriorated yesterday and overnight with above 0 temperatures (overnight minimum +0.5) and thawing snow. Skiers and boarders would be barely able to get down the slope to the lift. As such the lifts will be on hold waiting further snowfalls. Read more…

Ben Lomong Update – 2 lifts tomorrow Village to tower 2 and Bass – 02 08 2014

Following extensive work on the lift lines and deicing 2 lifts will be operating tomorrow. Due to marginal conditions, village will be only open to tower 2. Road conditions have improved with only 2WD vehicles fitting chains. Should be another great day if you can make it.
