Mountain Update – 15 to 20 cm fresh snow overnight – 2-3 lifts today on the front of the mountain.

Lift update – 30 July 2015 – Bass to operate, Village on wind hold

It’s currently -0.1 degrees. Alpine Enterprises have notified that they will operate Bass, village on wind hold. The cover again softened yesterday with a dusting over night and hardened too. Winds are North-westerly at 20-25 knots (40-50 kmph) Visibility is short at the moment with some mist/cloud on the mountain. Read more…

Conditions update – Gale force winds put lifts on hold

Overnight with Gale force winds have strengthened to in excess of 30 knots (60 to 90kmph) requiring Alpine Enterprises to place the lifts on hold. As soon as conditions moderate they will be reassessed, this could be during the day today. Lift crews are ready to operate should conditions allow. Read more…

Mountain Update – 15 to 20 cms on the slopes, very icy on the road

Snow Update – Are you bending it tonight at the bender, fitting chains at the park registration

Overnight the first small front has resulted in about 3cm of snow down to the parks entry booth.
